We can do it !

01.

GECAD Inc and GECAD GH LTD founded by Mr. Ebow Essandoh (with rich experience) established a very strong relationship with GE Energy, USA which guaranteed reliability and access to technical support in the design, planning, procurement, construction, and operation of energy sector projects

02.

In partnership with GE (General Electric. USA), GECAD delivered between 1988 – 2006 major projects to the tune of over $500 million in the energy sector in Ghana and West Africa.

03.

Ebow Essandoh believed in the ingenuity of Ghanaian engineers, especially women engineers, and craft workers/artisans so GECAD mobilized/ assembled a team of 30 engineering graduates and technicians from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST), and various Polytechnics (now Technical Universities) and Technical Schools plus 130 craft workers/artisans who worked under the supervision of 6 expatriate staff during the construction of the VRA Thermal Plant at Aboadze.

GECAD’s employment level reached 600 people during the tenure of the construction of the Thermal Power Plant at Aboadze.

05.

When S&W sub contracted the Mechanical & Electrical Erection and alignment of gas turbines and all accessories; Installation of piping for fuel, water and air in 1996, they wanted to recruit welders from the Philippines but Mr Ebow Essandoh insisted that Ghanaian welders should rather be employed to execute the job. Messrs. Frank Maggio and Marcus Wilson who were in charge of the Mechanical and Electrical Department took up the challenge to retrain the Ghanaian welders to complete the job on time and drastically reduced the cost of Labour
